Well, isn't this good news. Santa has apparently been reading the Eat Christmas Cookie Post and is so impressed with all the beautiful cookies submitted so far that he has decided to make it interesting.
He is going to give a copy of the fabulous pastry chef Sherry Yard's brand new cookbook: Desserts by the Yard: From Brooklyn to Beverly Hills: Recipes from the Sweetest Life Ever to the baker of the best cookie submitted.
The cookies will be judged on originality, festiveness, and edibility.All cookies posted before December 24th at midnight PST will be considered. You can post as many times as you like. The cookie does not have to be "Christmas," but must be a cookie (as written in the original event announcement).
Three Food Blogga fans (who are not bloggers) will pick the top five cookies and you will vote for a winner.
